On Sunday, March 15, Ahmed Soumahoro, a former Berkmar High School star, and his current team, the Columbus State Cougars, were defeated 74-66 by the Lander Bearcats in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The matchup began at 5 p.m. at Abney Athletic Center and marked Columbus State’s first game in the tournament against Lander.
