On Friday, May 16, former Parkview High School standout Andrews Opata’s current collegiate team the North Georgia Nighthawks won 4-2 against the Carson-Newman Eagles in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Abbey Yard at 3 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Carson-Newman Eagles in the tournament.

The North Georgia Nighthawks’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 4:05 p.m. at Abbey Yard.
