On Wednesday, April 9, former Archer High School standout Jack Young’s current college team, the Georgia Southern Eagles, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercer Bears.

The game took place at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m. at J. I. Clements Stadium against Old Dominion Monarchs.
