Berkmar Middle School announced on March 11 that it will host a virtual family engagement session titled “Unlocking the Future: Supporting Student Success” on March 24, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM via Microsoft Teams. The event is open to all families and will feature presentations from the Office of Accountability and Assessment, the Office of Counseling, College & Career Services, and the Office of Family Engagement.
The session aims to provide families with resources and strategies to help students prepare for the upcoming Georgia Milestones Assessment. Attendees will also hear directly from counseling and college readiness staff about supporting their child’s academic journey. In addition, families can learn about programs designed to maximize student performance and offer input for the District Family and Community Engagement Plan.
Interpretation services will be available in Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, and French. The event is intended for families of students in kindergarten through twelfth grade.
