District 4 Commissioner Matthew Holtkamp is set to host two community events this May under his Local Voices, Local Places initiative. The program aims to strengthen community bonds and foster connections within the district.

The first event is a special Storytime session at the Suwanee Branch Library on Monday, May 5 at 2 p.m. Commissioner Holtkamp stated, “The first event, a special Storytime at the Suwanee Branch Library, promotes early literacy and family engagement.”

The second event, a Meet-and-Greet, will take place on Monday, May 13 at 6:30 p.m. on the patio at Bubba’s 33 in Buford. This informal setting allows residents to engage directly with Commissioner Holtkamp. The commissioner expressed, “The second event is a casual Meet-and-Greet on the patio at Bubba’s 33 in Buford, giving residents an opportunity to connect directly with Commissioner Holtkamp in an informal setting.”

Both events are part of a broader effort to encourage dialogue and understanding in District 4.
