Florida A&M falls 14-0 to Florida State in NCAA Division I softball matchup

Former Grayson High School standout Samantha Smith’s college team, the Florida A&M Lady Rattlers, was defeated 14-0 by the Florida State Seminoles in an NCAA Division I softball game held Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 5 p.m.

JoAnne Graf Field at the Seminole Softball Complex was the setting for their first meeting this season.

Smith pitched 0.1 innings, allowing two earned runs, and recorded two hits, two runs, and three walks.

The Lady Rattlers’ upcoming game is on Thursday, Feb. 26, at UCF Softball Complex where they will face the Wagner Seahawks.
