Local businesses are being invited to attend the Gwinnett County Government’s 17th annual Supplier Networking Event. This event provides these businesses the opportunity to learn about doing business with the county.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Gas South Convention Center, located at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth. It is organized by the Gwinnett County Purchasing Division and aims to connect vendors with county departments and partner agencies.

Participants will have the chance to meet buyers and contracting officers from Gwinnett and other metro Atlanta agencies. They will also get a preview of the county’s new vendor management system. The procurement staff will be available to help familiarize potential suppliers with the county’s purchasing policies.

Attendees are advised to park in Parking Deck 1, as Level P3 offers the closest entrance to the convention center. Further details on how to register for the event can be found at GwinnettCounty.com or by calling Gwinnett Purchasing at 770.822.8723.
