Gwinnett County is set to celebrate the installation of two public art sculptures at the Bicentennial Plaza and Trailhead. The event will take place on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 11 a.m. The sculptures, titled “Make A Wish” and “Vibrantly Connected,” are crafted from stainless steel by Georgia artist David Landis. These pieces aim to enhance the plaza space and trail, reflecting Gwinnett County’s connected community while beautifying the area for residents and visitors.

The celebration will feature several speakers including Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson, District 3 Commissioner Jasper Watkins III, Lawrenceville Mayor David Still, and artist David Landis. Deb Tuff, serving as Gwinnett County’s media relations strategist, will emcee the event.

The location for this event is Bicentennial Plaza at 275 S. Perry St., Lawrenceville. Attendees can find parking next to the plaza at Lawrenceville Lawn on 210 Luckie St.
