On Sunday, March 16, former Brookwood High School standouts John Beverley and Virgil Heath’s current college team, the Georgia State Panthers, won 15-14 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the South Alabama Jaguars.

The game took place at GSU Baseball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Jaguars this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 5 p.m. at Cole Field against West Georgia Wolves.
