On Sunday, March 23, former Brookwood High School standouts John Beverley and Virgil Heath’s current college team, the Georgia State Panthers, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Old Dominion Monarchs.
The game took place at Bud Metheny Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Monarchs this season.
The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at GSU Baseball Complex against Alabama State Hornets.
