On Tuesday, March 18, former Brookwood High School standouts John Beverley and Virgil Heath’s current college team, the Georgia State Panthers, lost 12-11 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the West Georgia Wolves.
The game took place at Cole Field. This was their first matchup against the Wolves this season.
The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Bud Metheny Ballpark against Old Dominion Monarchs.
