Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County residents are invited to attend a Stormwater Smarts Rain Barrel Workshop scheduled for October 16, 2025. The event will focus on water conservation and the practical use of rain barrels.

Participants will learn about the importance of conserving water, how to collect rainwater, and when it is appropriate to use it. At the end of the session, attendees will receive a rain barrel to take home.

Organizers have stated, “Discover why water conservation matters. Learn how to collect rainwater and determine when to use it. Receive a rain barrel to take home.” Registration is required for those who wish to participate.
