District 4 Commissioner Matthew Holtkamp has initiated a new series of events aimed at recognizing and promoting small businesses in Gwinnett County. The series, named “Local Voices, Local Places,” kicks off at Reveille Café in Sugar Hill on April 21. The gathering is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and invites locals to join in for breakfast and conversation.

Residents can engage in informal discussions with Commissioner Holtkamp at this event. The initiative provides a platform for community members to share their thoughts and questions directly with the commissioner in a relaxed setting.

Holtkamp, who also owns a small business, emphasizes the value of connectivity with the community. He stated, “As a small business owner myself, I understand how important it is to stay connected with the people you serve.”

The series “Local Voices, Local Places” is created to reinforce the bond between local businesses and residents. Future events under this banner will feature tours, opportunities to interact with business owners, and spotlight content that will be disseminated across Gwinnett County’s channels.

Reveille Café, the venue for the inaugural event, is situated at 5885 Cumming Hwy NE in Sugar Hill.
