Congresswoman Lucy McBath has announced the launch of her seventh annual “Valentines for Veterans” community event. Residents of Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District are encouraged to participate by submitting Valentine’s Day cards, which will be distributed to local veterans during the week of the holiday.

“Honoring the men and women who served our country is one of the great privileges of my work in Congress, and I am honored to offer this community event once again,” McBath said. “Each year, I look forward to working with my constituents to collect and distribute Valentine’s Day cards. Thank you to all those who will help show love to Georgia veterans!”

Those wishing to take part can drop off or mail their cards to McBath’s Atlanta district office at 3330 Cumberland Boulevard SE, Suite 610, Atlanta, GA 30339. The deadline for submissions is Friday, February 6th. For more information or questions about the program, constituents can call (470) 773-6330 or email arts.mcbath@mail.house.gov.

Lucy McBath currently serves in the U.S. Congress representing Georgia’s 7th district after replacing Karen Handel in 2019. In the most recent general election in 2024, she won against Jeff Criswell with a significant margin, securing nearly three-quarters of the vote.
