On Sunday, March 23, former Parkview High School standouts Ford Thompson and Garrett Lambert’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Citadel Bulldogs.

The game took place at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 6 p.m. at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field against Georgia State Panthers.
