On Wednesday, March 26, former Parkview High School standouts Ford Thompson and Garrett Lambert’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgia State Panthers.

The game took place at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field against Western Carolina Catamounts.
