Ahead of the upcoming Mother’s Day weekend, Representative Lucy McBath from Georgia’s 6th District has released a video titled “What Moms Really Want.” The video emphasizes that mothers across America are calling for action to protect programs that ensure their children’s safety, rather than traditional gifts like flowers.

Representative McBath has been an advocate for common-sense gun safety, education, and workforce development policies since the tragic death of her son, Jordan Davis, in 2012. Despite his passing, she continues to identify as “Jordan’s Mom.”

The video can be viewed on Instagram through Representative McBath’s official account.
