Shiloh High School reported 61 multiracial students enrolled in the 2024-25 school year, a 3.2% decrease from the prior year, based on data from the Georgia Department of Education.

Total enrollment at Shiloh High School reached 2,063 students for 2024-25. Of these, multiracial students represented 3% of the population, placing them among the school’s least-represented groups.

The school is part of the Gwinnett County School District, administered from Lawrenceville.

Within the 140 schools in the Gwinnett County School District, Brookwood High School enrolled the most multiracial students in 2024-25, with 187 students.

The National Center for Education Statistics reports that for public schools in Georgia, the student makeup was approximately 36.4% Black, 35.9% white, 18.1% Hispanic, 4% Asian, 4.6% multiracial, 0.2% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.1% Pacific Islander.

Chronic absenteeism continues to challenge Georgia schools post-pandemic, with 20.7% of students missing at least 10% of school days in 2024, according to the Georgia Department of Education. To address this, GaDOE began a statewide initiative featuring a real-time attendance dashboard, a public awareness strategy, and targeted support for districts with high absentee rates to improve daily presence.

In 2025, Georgia legislators passed a bill revising attendance laws to prohibit expulsion based solely on absenteeism. The law also introduces new reporting requirements and aligns with efforts that support alternative diploma pathways.

As of 2026, Georgia reported an average student-teacher ratio of about 14:1, surpassing the nationwide average of 15:1.
