Gwinnett County issued the following announcement on June 4.
The Board of Commissioners approved a contract to install a roundabout at the intersection of Sardis Church Road and West Rock Quarry Road near the future Seckinger High School on Sardis Church Road.
In addition to the roundabout, the project includes installation of a signalized intersection at the driveway for Seckinger High School and the installation of sidewalks, curb and gutter, street lighting, and associated drainage improvements.
Peach State Construction Co. LLC was the lowest of six responsive bidders. The $2.1 million project is funded by the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax program.
