Fans interested in attending one of the Gwinnett Stripes final regular season games are in for a treat.
The Stripers and Coolray Heating & Cooling are partnering together for a special ticket offer of $5 tickets, according to a team press release.
"For the Stripers’ final five games at Coolray Field from Sept. 29 through Oct. 3, fans can purchase Field Box seats for just $5 each," the team said in the release.
For the first time in team history, the Triple A baseball team will be playing in October, the release said.
The Stripers will finish the final five games of their season playing the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp as part of the “Triple-A Final Stretch," according to the press release.
The series offered fans an Austin Riley “Bow-Hunting” bobblehead giveaway for the first 1,000 attendees on Sept. 30, a superhero night with postgame fireworks on Oct. 1 and a Stripers neon green cap giveaway to the first 1,500 fans on Oct. 2.
Fans interested in attending the series can buy $5 field box seats (in select sections) now at GoStripers.com.
The Stripers have a record of 68-56 and are led offensively by first baseman Johan Camargo with a .319 batting average and 17 home runs, center fielder Cristian Pache with a .332 batting average and 10 homeruns, left fielder Drew Waters with a .245 batting average and 11 home runs and second baseman Yolmer Sanchez with a .206 batting average and nine home runs, according to the team's website.
