Spartan Spotlight! This summer, GAC Drum Major, John Cong '23, attended the Phantom Regiment Academy,* where he received conducting instruction from a well-decorated and talented staff. While there, he was selected from the attendees to conduct the corps! This was a tremendous honor, and we are excited to see our Spartans thriving in their passions. Congrats, John!
*Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps is a World Class competitive junior drum and bugle corps based in Rockford, Illinois, USA. The corps is a long-standing member of Drum Corps International, having been a DCI World Championship Top Twelve Finalist every year since 1974 and DCI World Champions in 1996 and 2008.
