Popular NFL athlete Kyle Pitts recharged his energy after spending his first bye week with his family and friends.
Just a few games in the league, the Falcons tight end said that he's already learned preparation is key to success, according to atlantafalcons.com.
"Preparation, that's something that'll help you win," Pitts said. "I feel like everything correlates from home the way you come out here and prepare in the morning before practice. After practicing, just take care of your body."
Pitt has garnered nine catches for 119 yards and a TD in the Falcons' win over the Jets in London. He was the No. 4 pick in NFL draft.
"I was pretty excited when I saw it," Pitts said about the matchup.
The athlete carried the Falcons to .500 after his game in Miami on Sunday, setting a new NFL record.
Pitts was already familiar with the Dolphins, atlantafalcons.com said. The two teams held joint practices during training camp. Pitts scored a touchdown after cutting hard and leaving Dolphins safety Eric Rowe behind.
"After today, it showed what people have been saying," Rowe said in August. "...You can see the potential. The way he moves. I know he's still just a rookie. But you can see when someone has talent. … He's long. He can move. I know he's going to cause problems."
