CITY OF SNELLVILLE

ANNOUNCES A VACANCY FOR:

PERMANENT PART TIME FACILITY WORKER

Minimum Starting Salary: $12.00 per hour   (20-25 hrs per week)

DUTIES:

This Permanent PT work will be assisting Park Maintenance staff with general facility maintenance and up keep.  Incumbent will assist in preparing facilities for rentals and SPRD events at any Parks & Recreation facilities.  They will assist in various janitorial duties on a daily basis including but not limited to trash pick-up, restroom cleaning, dusting and various facility repairs and up keep.  Will respond to the needs of other staff and city workers and perform “team” oriented duties.  Some weekend and evening work required on an as needed basis for Park Special events. Position reports to the Park Maintenance Supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent.  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and public.  Lift up to 50 lbs., bend, squat, twist, crawl and climb on a daily basis.  Work inside and outside.

EXAMINATION:

Job interview, personal and work background check, criminal history check, and a successful post offer, pre-employment drug screen.
