FOIA Request to Gwinnett County Election Department Regarding Ballot Counting Methods on October 29, 2024.
In our ongoing efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at South Gwinnett News have submitted a request under the Georgia Open Records Act § 50.18.70 et seq. This request, sent to the Gwinnett County Election Department, seeks information about the methods they are using to count votes in the upcoming election.
If the votes are being counted manually, we have also requested an estimated number of people who will be working on election night.
