As the summer season approaches, Berkmar is extending an invitation to its community for a basketball camp aimed at children. The Berkmar Basketball Kids Camp will take place from June 3rd to June 5th, providing an opportunity for young boys and girls to engage in sports activities. The camp will be held over three days, from 12 PM to 4 PM.

William Witherspoon, an educator and the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Berkmar, emphasized the benefits of participating in the camp. "Participants will receive a camp shirt, other Berkmar basketball garb, learn and get better, and most importantly HAVE FUN with our players and coaches," Witherspoon noted in his announcement.

Designed to keep children active and engaged over the summer break, the camp charges a fee of $80 for participation. However, families with more than one child can benefit from a reduced rate, with each additional child’s participation costing $70.
