The Gwinnett County Police Department has charged a third man in connection with a botched carjacking that led to the shooting death of 29-year-old high school football coach Bradley Coleman, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.

Authorities told the news organization that Coleman was putting air in his tires at a Peachtree Corners gas station on July 10, when he was approached and accosted by the suspects, who first tried to take his vehicle before opening fire, after he put up some level of resistance. 

"The suspect got out of the victim’s vehicle, and one of the suspects shot the victim. Both suspects got back into their vehicle and drove off," the Gwinnett County Police Department told Fox 5 Atlanta.

U.S. marshals worked together with local police to take 20-year-old Josiah Hughley into custody in Atlanta, making him the third suspect to be charged in connection with the brutal killing of Coleman. 

The second suspect, Miles Collins, was arrested and charged with murder early last month while, the first suspect, David Jarrad Booker, was arrested in late July, Fox 5 reported. Police said they do not believe any more suspects are still at large.

In a GoFundMe started to support his daughter, Coleman was described as a "graduate from Norcross high school who won Mr. Norcross 2011 and played on the Norcross High School State Basketball Championship team that year." He later played football in Louisiana and came back to Georgia to coach football at Peachtree Ridge High School.
