Rep. Lucy McBath, a U.S. Congress member representing Georgia's 7th district since 2019, has recently shared insights and updates through her social media platform. Her posts address local infrastructure improvements, state policy concerns, and commemorate influential figures.

On February 18, Rep. McBath highlighted the impact of infrastructure investments in Cobb County: "The Akers Mill Road Ramp in Cobb will improve highway access for thousands of highway commuters." She emphasized the importance of federal funding by stating, "I'm proud to bring federal dollars, like the $5 million for this ramp, to projects that improve our communities."

In a subsequent post on February 20, McBath expressed concern over proposed political measures affecting educational opportunities: "The proposed GOP plans target crucial programs for Georgia families." She underscored the significance of HOPE scholarships by noting that they "have granted students the opportunity to attend college at a lower cost," warning that new taxes could hinder progress and negatively impact families.

Reflecting on historical contributions to social progress, Rep. McBath paid tribute to John Lewis on February 21: "I am honored to represent Georgia each day because of its rich history of changemakers." She praised leaders like John Lewis as instrumental in advancing societal change and wished him a "Happy Heavenly Birthday."
