University of Georgia football fans will have one last chance to show their “How 'bout them Dawgs” loyalty this weekend at a parade in honor of the football team’s championship win over Alabama.
Students and season ticket holders will have the earliest opportunity to get tickets, with leftovers being available to the public.
"All tickets are complimentary and will be available to season ticket holders and UGA students Tuesday through Thursday through an online request form," athletics officials said, as reported by Fox 5 Atlanta.
After that, members of the public can put in their requests.
The Athens campus will be open to visitors at 7 a.m. on Jan. 15. Five hours later, the stadium gates will open.
The parade is set to start at 12:30 p.m. and will go down Lumpkin Street. Then comes a Dawg Walk and the formal recognition ceremony.
Alabama, a long-time football powerhouse, was the top seed in the championship and the Crimson Tide had shut down the Bulldogs the previous seven meetings.
But the Bulldogs turned a strong fourth quarter, where they outscored ‘Bama 20-9, into a 33-18 victory. It was the first championship for Georgia in 41 years.
