Cornerback Isaiah Oliver is set to return from injury to the Atlanta Falcons' lineup and is feeling like he has a lot to prove.
In a recent report by AtlantaFalcons.com, Oliver said it was a lot to handle at first, but getting into rehab and being back on the field helped him out the most.
"You can almost see the finish line. Whereas those first couple of months, it just seems like it's too much all at once, and it's just so far away. Now, I feel like I'm in a much better spot, both physically and mentally” Oliver told AtlantaFalcons.com
According to the report, Oliver only played in four games last season because of an ACL injury that kept him sidelined.
Prior to going down, many felt Oliver was on his way to registering his best season in Atlanta since arriving in 2018, the report states.
Looking toward this season, Oliver told AtlantaFalcons.com he now feels at around 70% recovered, adding he still has restrictions that keep him from going full speed, but he's right where he needs to be at this point in the offseason.
"I feel like I can do pretty much everything," Oliver told AtlantaFalcons.com. "It's just about doing it naturally."
