Georgia Gwinnett College issued the following announcement on May 24.
In compliance with recent CDC updates and USG guidance, effective immediately, fully vaccinated individuals can resume activities while on campus without wearing a mask or socially distancing. Individuals who are unvaccinated are strongly encouraged to continue to wear a face covering while inside campus facilities and practice social distancing.
As GGC continues to do its part to support the end of this active pandemic, we encourage students, faculty and staff to get vaccinated to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. GGC offers a mobile vaccination clinic where health providers will administer the Moderna vaccine in the Wellness and Recreation Center in Building F, through August 4: https://www.ggc.edu/.../georgia-gwinnett-college-hosts...
Over the summer, you may have questions as you prepare for your return. To assist in your planning efforts, please see the information located on the public health FAQ page: https://www.ggc.edu/abou.../public-safety/public-health/faq/
We appreciate the support of the campus community as we transition back to full operations and are excited to welcome you back in person this fall semester!
