Once a Comet, ALWAYS a Comet! 2 PM, Sun., 5/22 the state of Georgia honor's SGHS' own SPC Etienne Murphy by renaming the intersection of Highway 78 & Oak RD 'SPC Etienne Murphy Memorial Intersection'. A brief ceremony @ Snellville United Methodist Church is open to the public & then everyone will walk over to the intersection. Please come out celebrate the life of a "Blazing Comet" who was a real American Hero. 'He’d wanted to serve his country since the day we all know now as 9/11, and Etienne J.
