June is Pride Month! Pride Month commemorates the 1969 Stonewall protest in New York City, and recognizes the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) individuals have had on history–locally, nationally, and internationally. GCPS supports LGBTQI+ students and staff, and is committed to helping each and every individual feel welcome, safe, and accepted.
