GGC students majoring in environmental science and English participated in a field trip to study, explore and understand the Chattahoochee River, offering a chance to understand how different areas of study can align to benefit Earth's natural resources.
“In addition to being a unique ecosystem, the Chattahoochee is a complex environmental feature that brings a lot of factors together: hydroelectric power, recreation, fishery, water supply and wastewater treatment, etc., and we hope to learn more about, and appreciate, these relationships.” said English professor Dr. A. Keith Kelly.
